Notes: Twitchy utility guy with tools. Plus athletic ability could fit in multiple positions. Also plays HS Football. Has plus HS arm strength. We could see this athleticism playing a several levels in college from DII to Power 5 as the skill sets continue to develop. Good HS Arm on the mound up to 87 MPH in this event with 74MPH Curveball. We see Cruz being more of a position guy in college. Offensively Cruz shows good bat speed and has the ability to drive balls gap to gap.

 

Things to work on: Continue to polish skill sets. Cruz may have to settle in on 2 positions after High School. He moves well it could be CF, 3B, 2B you can find a spot for athletes.  Needs to continue to polish technique at the plate. Great guy to bet on because the raw tools are in place to be a really good player
